JANUARY 20^TH IN NOTRE-DAME – Steeltown Pro presents its annual event in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes at the Notre-Dame Centennial Hall on Friday January 20^th featuring the Wild Women of SPW (Ann Brookstone & Mystik Sexton) and Notre-Dame’s own Marius.  Tickets are $12 at the door.  Doors open at 6:30 PM with a 7:00 PM bell time.  $2.00 from every advanced ticket sold will go towards the Notre-Dame hospital construction project.  Advanced tickets are available at the Centre Dom-Benoit (55 Rogers Street).

Tickets are $12 at the door.  Doors open at 6:30 PM with a 7:00 PM bell time.  Advanced tickets are available at the Garry Theatre of Selkirk.

JANUARY 22^ND IN WINNIPEG – Steeltown Pro Wrestling invades Winnipeg, Manitoba on Sunday January 22^nd at the Royal Canadian Legion (1331 Main Street).  This event will feature the Wild Women of SPW (Ann Brookstone & Mystik Sexton), “Misfit” Mike Mission, Spanky, La Sombra and more! Tickets are $12 at the door.  Doors open at 6:30 PM with a 7:00 PM bell time. 

 

TAG TEAMS WANTED – SPW officials are interested in finding new tag teams to bolster the division and challenge current champions SYKO & Son of Syko.  “Misfit” Mike Mission and Corey Diamond are the current the No. 1 Contenders and are scheduled to challenge the champions in the very near future.  SYKO & Son of Syko have held tandem gold since September 2011.

 

SPW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CONTENDERS – Several potential challengers emerged at the end of 2011 including La Sombra, “Classic” Matt Fairlane, Spanky, “Good ‘Ol Boy” Jethro Hawg and “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom who is currently on a win streak after recovering from a string of losses.  Mr. Nasty could also make a case for an opportunity following his 2011 SteeltownProWrestling.ca Wrestler of the Year Award.  “Iron” Ike Idol has been SPW Heavyweight Champion since February 2011.

 

SPW GOALS FOR 2012 – Internally SPW has prioritized itself with 3 main goals for 2012: celebrate its 4th Anniversary Show in April, promote its 100th live event and set a SPW live attendance record at the 5th annual Red River Rumble in August.

 

SPW IN THE MEDIA – Over the last few weeks Steeltown Pro Wrestling has appeared in several regional newspapers including the Valley Leader, the Selkirk Journal and the Treherne Times!  Former 2-time SPW Heavyweight Champion Marius will be featured on the Ringside with Packer podcast (http://ringsidewithpacker.com) talking about the SPW Triple Shot Weekend and his upcoming tour of the Canadian east coast.  The interview will be recorded on Friday and be available online on Saturday.
