AIWF & Wrestle Hustle join forces

Monday January 23, 2012 - Mt. Airy, NC - The AIWF (Allied Independent Wrestling Federations) has just announced a joint partnership with WrestleHustle.com, the leading wrestling website in Australia.  Wrestle Hustle will be the main sponsor of the AIWF Australia territory that was just formed, and will be responsible for handling the day to day operations of AIWF Australia.  "This move comes days off of our 3rd affiliate being signed in Australia to the AIWF, and as the AIWF continues to grow, so does our popularity in Australia," says Tim Dolan, Senior Executive Vice President of  for the AIWF.  "We have great faith that this partnership will move the AIWF to the forefront of the Australian wrestling scene.  We are already the largest sanctioning body in the world, and with the 3rd affiliate being signed, we are also the largest in Australia."

The AIWF has been working hard in the last two years developing their affiliate program.  With no fees to join, it sounds great to everyone, but the fear of having a catch is constantly brought up.  "There is no catch, there is no fee to join.  The AIWF was started by people in the business for people in the business. Our mission statement is simple, to bring quality wrestling and entertainment in a family friendly environment around the world," says Matt Classic, Director of Affiliate Relations.  "We have grown 1000% over the last year alone, and in 2012 our goal is to be at 200 affiliates throughout the world, with a heavy emphasis of international affiliates this year."

The AIWF just celebrated its 20th anniversary on January 14, 2012 with their show 20 Years of Blood, Sweat, and Cheers.  AIWF CEO Dean Puckett founded the company in January 1992 in Mt. Airy, NC, and it was only fitting that the 20th anniversary show was in Mt. Airy.  "As we continue to grow, we would like to branch out our anniversary shows to some of our affiliates, and this may happen within the next 3 years," says Mr. Puckett.  "With this announcement of the creation of AIWF Australia, and bringing in Wrestle Hustle to run our operations down under, this is only the beginning of making the AIWF a worldwide phenomenon.
